We’re proud to announce that we achieved record sales again last month.
Net total sales of $247.02 million for March 2011 beat last March’s sales of $226.69. That’s more than a $20 million increase! Net instant ticket sales of $133.00 last month beat the best March sales record, set just last year, by nearly $3 million.
It makes every employee of the Ohio Lottery proud when we achieve record sales. We all keep in mind every day that our beneficiaries are Ohio’s students. We really are proud of our transfers to the Lottery Profits Education Fund; last year’s was $728.6 million! That’s 100 percent of our profit. When you think about it, that’s a lot of money.
