Brian Charles of Marion is a contestant on the December 24, 2011 episode of Cash Explosion® , but his appearance is bittersweet.
It was his father-in-law Ronnie’s dream to be on the show, but when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer he decided to put Brian’s name on the ticket.
Brian had planned on using the winnings to take Ronnie to Wyoming, a place he had wanted to see for a long time. Unfortunately, Ronnie passed away before the taping.
