Behind the Scenes at the Scioto Downs VLT facility

There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes for the past five months to make the fun work today!  This morning, Scioto Downs officials have been making their final checks, the “drop team” finished VLT machine preparations, the greeters and cashiers are all at their place, and entertainment — from the jester on stilts to the “bronze guys,” magicians and comedians are ready to go.  Ohio Lottery security and auditors are working behind the scenes to account for all the game play, set to begin in less than 15 minutes. There are a lot of people in suits too — including Ohio Lottery Director, Dennis Berg, saying hello and making sure the grand opening is just that.
