Our Ohio Lottery Top Prize Drawing crew really had a ball last week.
Monday, we got to surprise Traci Skinner of Columbus with a $1 million top prize! Her surprise happened in the middle of one of her nursing classes at Fortis College in Westerville.
Wednesday, the crew headed to Youngstown to surprise Cora Hines of Warren with a check for $150,000!
We love to be sneaky, and that was all part of the plan to get the best reaction from the convenience store clerk. Cora was working at Danny G’s when a member of the TPD crew showed up. Cora thought she was posing for promotional picture for the store when she was presented with the oversized check for $150,000!
“That means a lot to me and my family, a nice holiday a nice Christmas, we’re blessed!”
The check was a big surprise for Cora who bought her Break the Bank ticket at Danny G’s in May of 2009! She won $5,500 and had the TPD symbol which entered her into the drawing.
Cora says she has won Lottery games before, but never this much. She says she will be sharing her prize.
“I’m going to make it rain for my family! This is the bomb!”
