It’s not every day that the Lottery receives a call from a fan offering to provide us with a photo steeped in Ohio Lottery history. Well, that’s what happened when Hallie Jones of Highland Heights called. She had a photo she said was worthy to share with all Ohioans. The proud mom shared a picture with her son Kenneth Jones (far right) and his co-workers at a local security firm. Their job was to guard a U.S. currency display during the debut of Super Lotto back in February 1986. It was one of the Ohio Lottery’s earliest in-state lotto game, and it went on sale 29 years ago today.
We’re grateful for her generosity.
