Dot’s Supermarket is 11-30-2015 Retailer-of-the- Week

Dot's Market number 2Kettering– Robert Bernhard owns Dot’s Supermarket and over the past year he has been working closely with Doug Osten, his lottery sales representative. Since then lottery sales have increased and the Ohio Lottery is pleased to recognize Dot’s Supermarket, 2274 Patterson Road in Kettering, as Retailer-of-the-Week for the week of November 30, 2015.  Selling tickets since 1984, Dot’s Supermarket has built sales through employee training, customer interaction and the use of sales tools provided by the Ohio Lottery. Employees are polite, patient, quick and accurate, keeping up on new lottery games and promotion materials. Occasionally they will help customers choose “hot” tickets or big sellers.

The store displays jackpot signs, and all winning tickets sold with prize amounts. Lottery bins are always full.   In 2010, they sold a $100,000 KICKER winner, and this year, a $500,000 Cashword winner. Selling 37 tickets over the counter and 25 through a vending machine, Dot’s Supermarket has a weekly sales average of $10,025.

Each week, the Ohio Lottery recognizes one outstanding retail partner who offers courteous service and sales enthusiasm.  Retailer-of-the-Week is chosen based on recommendations from the store’s sales representative and regional sales office. Dot’s Supermarket will be recognized on Cash Explosion® on December 5, 2015.

Montgomery County residents can tune into Cash Explosion® on WHIO CBS Channel 7   in Dayton. The Cash Explosion show is carried on 13 stations across the state every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Congratulations Dot’s Supermarket
