Sam’s Food Mart is 2-8-2016 Retailer -of-the-Week

Sams Food Mart-retailer of week

Amelia, OH – The employees at 2277 Ohio Pike in Amelia keep things fresh and new because they want to ensure the Lottery experience is an exciting one.  The Ohio Lottery is pleased to recognize Sam’s Food Mart as this week’s Retailer-of-the-Week.

Eight years ago, Suresh Patel began selling Ohio Lottery tickets. Seeing that winning made his customers happy, Patel and his employees set out to always be upbeat and happy, keeping a smile on their faces, because they knew that kind of action led to a reciprocal response, and customers bought more tickets.

Keeping the customer interested in Lottery, his employees will educate customers, will ask for the sale, run special promotions, have second-chance drawings, keep point of sales information current, and add the newest games. Patel says keep everything new and fresh, make the Lottery experience an exciting one, and have fun.  Sam’s Food Mart carries 65 instant games with a weekly sales average of $6,573.

Each week, the Ohio Lottery recognizes one outstanding retail partner who offers courteous service and sales enthusiasm.  Retailer-of-the-Week is chosen based on recommendations from the store’s sales representative and regional sales office. Sam’s Food Mart will be recognized on Cash Explosion® on February 13, 2016.

Clermont County residents can tune into Cash Explosion® on WCPO ABC Channel 9 in Cincinnati. The Cash Explosion show is carried on 13 stations across the state every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Congratulations Sam’s Food Mart!
