WHITEHALL, OH – It’s a place that is always clean and orderly. Cubes are loaded, new games are promptly activated and the business is always looking for ways to improve sales. That’s why the Ohio Lottery is pleased to recognize Super Saver as this week’s Retailer-of-the-Week for the week of April 18, 2016.
Ashish Patel owns the business at 555 S. Hamilton Road. Selling lottery for seven years, Patel says that they engage their customers on a personal level and this has helped build a repeat customer base. Excited about lottery wins, Patel shows big winners on the “Winners Wall” because he knows customers like to see evidence of winning tickets sold at his location. Super Saver cashes all tickets, knows customers by name, and the games they like to play.
Super Saver has a dedicated play area. They feature new games and old ones too. Their cubes use designated signs that feature “sold out or “last chance” as games are closing or have been sold out. They have multiple terminals for quick service and they double-face games: games that are most popular will have two cubes instead of one. Patel says the Ohio Lottery is entertainment for his customers, giving them extra cash to purchase big-ticket items. Super Saver carries 82 games with a $15,178 weekly selling average.
Super Saver will be recognized on Cash Explosion®, the Ohio Lottery’s TV game show, on April 23. Franklin County residents can tune into Cash Explosion® on WTTE Fox Channel 28 and WSYX ABC Channel 6 in Columbus. The Cash Explosion show is carried on 13 stations across the state every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Congratulations Super Saver!
