We can’t call it Monday Moaning today! The Cleveland Cavaliers ended the 52-year drought that plagued Cleveland sports fans by bringing home the NBA championship in game 7 against the Golden State Warriors. Congrats to the Cavs and the fans in the city of Cleveland! We’re pretty sure everyone in Northeast Ohio is smiling today.
It’s a big year for Cleveland, and a big year for the summer solstice. This year it coincides with the strawberry moon for the first time in nearly 70 years. The summer solstice is the day with the most amount of sunshine. The sun will reach its highest point throughout the course of the year. The sun and the full moon will be in sync creating a warm amber color making it a strawberry moon: the sun will be super high and the moon will be super low. The last time a full moon landed on a summer solstice was in 1948.
We’ve got a lot to celebrate, we’re all win! Bring it on Monday!
