‘Twas the Wednesday before Christmas, and players were making claims.  It  was  all because of  winning, after playing Ohio Lottery games!

rrobertsHe’s been playing Ohio Lottery games for 20 years, and he’s won a few thousand dollar prizes, but this win was life changing. Randy Roberts of Sylvania won $500,000 on the Holiday Lucky Times 20. Roberts is buying a home and putting some of  the win into retirement. He receives $355,000 after 29 percent mandatory federal and state taxes.  He says the win is an early birthday present; his birthday is December 29. What a nice way to end and begin the year? Roberts purchased the ticket at the Secor Circle K in Toledo. Circle K receives a $5,000 agent bonus for selling a top prize-winning ticket. Roberts said he purchased  winning tickets from this location before and that is why he purchased the ticket from this location. Oh by the way, this retailer sold a $5 million Mega Millions ticket on December 11, 2016.

Terry & Brittany Brumfield of Lucasville are avid Lottery fans. They make KENO a regular  part of  their weekend activities. Brittany  got lucky on EZPLAY New Year’s Celebration. She won $20,000. They are paying off bills, and buying a car. Terry is hoping he can squeeze in a 4-wheeler.12-19-16-002

Kristen Roberts of Ironton frequently buys Lottery tickets at Holiday Quick Stop in Ironton. She has won $500, but this $10,000 prize on Triple Winning 7’s was special. It came at  a great time.  She and her husband have custody of her four nieces and nephews. They will use  the win to  take the kids to Disneyworld.  It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!k-roberts-jpg

The holder of a $500,000 Cashword ticket claimed the  prize in Trust.  Daniel C. Harkins is Trustee of the Bear Trust. The winning ticket was purchased at Speedway #1157 in New Carlisle. Speedway receives a $5,000 agent bonus for selling a top prize-winning ticket.

 Happy Holidays!
