20170130_103752HAMDEN, OH – Tom and Nancy Jolly own Gas N Stuff, which is located at 144 S. Main Street in Hamden. Located in a small town, the gas station realizes that good customer service is essential to their retailer success. The Ohio Lottery is pleased to recognize Gas N Stuff as Retailer-of-the-Week for the week of March 6, 2017.

Gas N Stuff displays all point of service material and bet cards. Windows are decorated and new games are promptly activated in order to have a good selection of tickets for customers. They have sold a winning $300,000 Ruby Red 7’s and a winning $200,000 Winter Winnings ticket which they proudly display. They know the importance of advertising. Nancy said their lottery sales increase when a big winner is sold.

“Our store opened in 2009 and being friendly to our customers and making them feel welcome kept them coming back,” Nancy said. “We are willing and able to cash winning tickets.”

Nancy says knowledge, kindness and location characterize the business. Lottery sales representative Wendy Moore adds that Gas N Stuff knows the importance of game activation, they are always willing to accept suggestions and their winner signs are displayed front and center. They carry  31 instant games and have a weekly sales average of $7,674.

Gas N Stuff will be recognized on Cash Explosion®, the Ohio Lottery’s TV game show, on March 11. Vinton County residents can tune into Cash Explosion® on their local cable station. The Cash Explosion show is carried on 13 stations across the state every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
