BROOKFIELD – Making sure that Lottery customers are treated in a courteous manner and greeted with a smile, the owners of Brookfield Sparkle Market realize knowing about Lottery games is important too. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Modarelli own the business at 7229 Warren Sharon Road in Brookfield. The Ohio Lottery is pleased to recognize Brookfield Sparkle Market as Retailer-of-the-Week for the week of March 20, 2017.
They have sold Lottery for 12 years and Theresa Modarelli says that having the Lottery easily accessible for customers and providing service with smiles is how they built their business. Timing is everything: employees know about new games, and draw times for all on-line games. It matters, she said. Keeping inventory fresh, having a team that knows how to operate the Lottery terminal effectively and efficiently is part of their business’ success. Theresa says no customer wants mistakes on their tickets. Train your team to know the operations of the terminal.
“Always have the sales team knowledgeable of new games and know the nights for the online drawings,” she said. “Let customers know of new games and keep inventory fresh by having the instant vending machine full at all times.”
Lottery sales representative Reanna Snivley says the Market is always willing to try something new. She adds that having the machine full is a priority; customers are treated well and return to play again. Brookside Sparkle Market carries 65 games from over the counter and through the Winstation unit. Weekly sales average $9,025 for on-line and instant games.
Brookfield Sparkle Market will be recognized on Cash Explosion®, the Ohio Lottery’s TV game show, on March 25. Mahoning County residents can tune into Cash Explosion® on WFMJ NBC-Channel 21 in Youngstown. The Cash Explosion show is carried on 13 stations across the state every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Congratulations Brookfield Sparkle Market!
