Carolyn Sesser of Newark won the top prize drawing in the $5 Million Mega Fortune game. There were 18 semifinalists in the February 27, 2017 drawing. The game’s $5 million top prize, $250,000 yearly for 20 years had a cash option. Sesser chose the annuity. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, she receives $177,500 a year for the next 20 years. Carolyn purchased her qualifying entry ticket on December 28, 2015 from The Kroger Co in Newark. The Kroger Co. receives a $10,000 agent bonus for selling the qualifying winning ticket.
Richard Wallhead of Willard won $100,000 after saying yes to the KICKER number on his March 8, 2017 Classic Lotto ticket. Wallhead said he plays all of the big games, and this was his first big win. He purchased the ticket from Mickey Mart in Willard. Mickey Mart received a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a top prize-winning KICKER ticket.
Jennifer Morrison of Cardington won $25,000 on the EZPLAY Wild Card Joker. She purchased the ticket from the Pit Stop 95.
David Alvarez of South Amherst won $5,100 on the March 16 evening Pick 4.
Chapin Coerdt of Chagrin Falls won $6,324 on the EZPLAY Perfect Game 300.
