Winner Wednesday

It’s the Wednesday before Easter Sunday, and the following players can add some extra sweetness to their baskets.

Dwayne Walker of Loveland won $300,000 scratching Cash X20. He receives $213,000 after 29 percent taxes. Walker purchased the winning ticket from Loveland BP, and the retailer receives a $3,000 agent bonus for selling top prize-winning ticket.

Diana Cherry of Oregon, Ohio was over the moon when she got the call: She won $250,000 in the top prize drawing for Red Hot 5s. One of 21 entries, she bought the semi-finalist ticket on July 15, 2015 from Third Base D T Party Store in Oregon. Third Base D T Party Store receives a $2,500 bonus for selling a qualifying winning ticket. Cherry celebrated her win with dinner at Wendy’s. She said the win would take the pressure off. After taxes she receives $177,500.

Melanie Griffith of Cincinnati netted $120,000 for matching all five numbers in the April 3, 2017 Rolling Cash 5 game. She used auto pick purchasing her ticket from Thornton’s. Thornton’s receives a $500 agent bonus for selling a five-of- five  winning Rolling Cash 5 ticket.

Donald Cooper of London won $25,000 on the April 7, 2017 Mega Millions drawing. Cooper matched 4 numbers and the mega ball number for $5,000. Saying yes to the megaplier, which was 5, multiplied his win for $25,000.

Cynthia Starkey of Norwalk won $64,470 on the EZPLAY Quick Spot on April 7, 2017.

Leonard Hoffstetter of Rome, Ohio  won $15,000 on Cash X20 after his son gave him the ticket for his birthday, which was April 2. The ticket was purchased at Village Tobacco in Orwell.

Matthew Lucas of Sheffield Lake won $10,000 on $500,000 Cashword.

Walter Jordan of Mansfield won $50,000 scratching  $500,000,000 Spectacular.

Bridgett Wilder of Elyria won $10,000 on Cash X50. Eric Aliff of Elyria won $8,000 playing KENO.

Constance Hartley of Corning and Carl Hook of Shawnee had a lucky night when they attended a local benefit. They won a Split the Pot drawing that included Ohio Lottery tickets. A $250,000 A Year for Life ticket was one of them, and when they scratched it Constance and Carl won  a $15,000 prize that they will split.  The ticket was purchased at Ice Box Carryout in Crooksville.

James George of Mansfield won $10,000 on Max the Money.

Cathleen Glisic of North Ridgeville won $10,005 on KENO.

Tye Lang of Sunbury Ohio won $10,000 on Max the Money.

Sirin Broadus of Cleveland won $50,000 playing the midday April 3, 2017 Pick 5.

Marc Stratton of Vermillion won $5,200 playing the April 3, 2017 Pick 4.

Regina Bolden of Maple Heights  won $6,198 playing the  April 1, 2017 Pick 4.
