When Pamela Myers of Ypsilanti, Michigan bought a VIP Cash Club ticket and won a Top Prize Drawing entry and $5,500 on April 24, 2015, she had a hunch she would win the top prize. On April 18, 2017, she did, winning the $100,000 top prize in the game. Holding one of 15 tickets entered into the game’s final drawing, she bought the qualifying ticket from Shop & Go. After taxes, she receives $71,000. Myers recently moved into a new home and will use her windfall for home improvements and new furniture. Shop & Go receives a $1,000 bonus for selling the qualifying winning ticket.
M.C. Allen of Massillon was all smiles after winning a top prize. He won $300,000 after scratching the Cash X20 instant game. After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 29 percent, Allen receives a lump sum payment of $213,000. He is using the money for a vacation, a riding lawn mower for his home and buying his son a car. He purchased the winner from Speedway, 522 Erie Street in Massillon. Speedway receives a $3,000 agent bonus for selling a top prize-winning Cash X20 instant game ticket.
Roy Pierce of McArthur won $10,000 on Cash X50. Gary Schluchter of Fremont won $10,000 on Road to Riches.
Douglas Sheppard of New Lexington was travelling thru Clarksburg to his daughter’s baseball game when she needed a bathroom break. He stopped at Pettit’s and bought a ticket and won $10,000 on Monopoly Millionaires’ Club. His daughter gets to share in some of the win; after all, the break was her idea. He will be taking his son on a trip since he is joining the Navy. The special needs teacher is also hosting a pizza party for his class as well.
Alvin Lee of Sandusky won $5,800 on the May 12 midday Pick 4.
