NORTH OLMSTED – At Cheap Tobacco, owner Elizabeth Harper says communication with customers is most important when it comes to promoting the Ohio Lottery. The Ohio Lottery is pleased to recognize Cheap Tobacco as Retailer-of-the-Week for the week of June 5, 2017.
Selling Ohio Lottery for 20 years, Cheap Tobacco is located at 24363 Lorain Road in North Olmsted. The store promotes the Lottery by informing customers of new instant games, telling what the current jackpot is and posting signs of jackpots and big winners. “Good customer service is vital in making sure the customer experience in the store is one that will keep them coming back,” Harper said.
Cheap Tobacco has developed a nice flow of steady customers by having one self- service machine, two self-service KENO machines, and a machine behind the counter. They ask new customers for the sale and have an annual Customer Appreciation Day. The day involves a cookout with giveaways to show the customer gratitude and thanks for shopping at their location.
Summing up their Lottery business as fast, and friendly with knowledgeable employees, Harper advises upcoming retailers to take advantage of all that Lottery has to offer and always ask for the sale. The business carries 76 instant games with a weekly sales average of $19,228 for instants and on-line games.
Sales Representative Sandra Krakora adds that Cheap Tobacco provides excellent customer service, keeps a clean store and is always asking for the sale.
Cheap Tobacco will be recognized on Cash Explosion®, the Ohio Lottery’s TV game show, on June 10, 2017. Cuyahoga County residents can tune into Cash Explosion® on WEWS ABC Channel 5 in Cleveland. The Cash Explosion show is carried on 13 stations across the state every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
