A & T Mart named July 24, 2017 Retailer-of-the-Week

YOUNGSTOWN –Selling Ohio Lottery products for 15 years, Thaer Abuoraq treats his customers like family.  Located at 5721 Market Street in Youngstown, the Ohio Lottery is pleased to recognize A & T Mart as Retailer-of-the-Week for the week of July 24, 2017.

Knowing customers by name is one way Thaer promotes Lottery customer service. Noting that customer service is key,  he makes sure that the Lottery experience is fun. He keeps a full inventory of instants, carries all games, cashes all winning tickets, has a dedicated Lottery play area, KENO signage  is in the window and he knows his customers by name.

“In our 15 years of selling Lottery we have always added to our amount of tickets on sale. We don’t rush our players and we will help with paperwork if needed. When a player wins, they are happy and they usually buy more. We interact with our players,” he said.

“Always make a player feel important and create a fun atmosphere with giveaways and second-chance drawings,” he says.

“Thaer treats players like family; his store is like a meeting place,” says Duane Mancini, his sales representative. ” He’s 100 percent  pro-lottery.”

A & T Mart carries 52 games and has a weekly sales average of $15,389 for instant and on-line games.

A & T Mart will be recognized on Cash Explosion®, the Ohio Lottery’s TV game show, on July 29, 2017. Mahoning County residents can tune into Cash Explosion® on WFMJ NBC Channel 21. The Cash Explosion show is carried on 13 stations across the state every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
