With more than ten years of selling and building the Lottery business, Randolph Marathon owners Gurinder Sandhu and Iqbal Boparai are still willing to listen. Located at 1497 St. Rt. 44 in Randolph, the Ohio Lottery is pleased to recognize Randolph Marathon as the September 18, 2017 Retailer-of-the-Week.
Sales representative Faith Kemp says their willingness to make improvements have been positive; listening has improved customer service. The business also uses what they call prominent product placement strategy. It is vital to the Lottery business says Randolph Marathon customer service representatives Carol Cady and Jerry Erwin. Winners sold here and electronic signs are strategically placed throughout the business. That placement, along with honesty and a reduction in mistakes, has led to repeat customers.
Kemp says that great product placement, excellent use of electronic signage and cooperative employees is why she chose Randolph Marathon. The retailer carries 45 tickets over the counter and has a weekly sales average of $5,627 for instant and on-line games.
Randolph Marathon will be recognized on Cash Explosion®, the Ohio Lottery’s TV game show, on September 23. Portage County residents can tune into Cash Explosion® on WEWS ABC Channel 5 in Cleveland. The Cash Explosion show is carried on 13 stations across the state every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Congratulations Randolph Marathon!
