It’s the day before Thanksgiving, and these players are thankful for big Ohio Lottery wins.
David Porter of Hopedale won $130,000 after matching all five numbers in the November 13, 2017 Rolling Cash 5 game.
Porter says he’s been playing the Rolling Cash 5 game since it began. He’s won on Pick 3 and sometimes plays the Powerball and Mega Millions, but he likes the Rolling Cash 5 odds.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, he receives $92,300. Porter says the win makes retirement a little easier; he’s paying some bills and taking a vacation. He bought the auto pick ticket from Woods Food Center in Hopedale. Woods Food Center receives a $500 bonus for selling a winning Rolling Cash 5 ticket.
