FAIRBORN, OH – Monitoring what really sells and focusing on those games is how Jimmy Patel, the owner of Fairborn BP, promotes Lottery. There’s nothing like recognition on Christmas Day. At 1040 Dayton-Yellowsprings Road in Fairborn, the Ohio Lottery is pleased to recognize Fairborn BP as Retailer-of-the-Week for the week of December 25, 2017.
Fairborn BP has a large display of instants that can be seen as customers enter the store. They have been selling Lottery games for 9 years, but the increase in the number of tickets displayed has made a difference. Lottery sales representative, Melissa Bowen, said that in the last six months, compared to last year, instant sales are up 21 percent. Bowen said they are always looking for ways to increase sales because they are service oriented.
Fairborn BP tries to carry all available tickets, but they monitor what tickets really sell and will focus on those games. Always asking for the sale, they know that four out of five purchases will result after mentioning jackpot amounts. They cash all winning tickets and always wish the customer good luck. Offering friendly customer service, Fairborn BP carries at least 50 instant games from over the counter. Weekly sales average $8,190 for instant and on-line games.
Fairborn BP will be recognized on Cash Explosion®, the Ohio Lottery’s TV game show, on December 30, 2017. Greene County residents can tune into Cash Explosion® on WHIO CBS Channel 7 in Dayton. The Cash Explosion show is carried on 13 stations across the state every Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Congratulations Fairborn BP!
