TOLEDO– Circle K at 6008 Secor Rd in Toledo is a veteran Ohio Lottery retailer. They have been selling Ohio Lottery games since 1991, and have done an exceptional job doing so. That is why they are this week’s Ohio Lottery Retailer-of-the-Week.
Most of the employees at the store have been with them for over 20 years. The manager, Michelle Snider, accredits their success as a retailer to having experienced, friendly, and knowledgeable staff.
The entire staff is excellent at promoting Ohio Lottery games. They make sure to display their activated, top 25 instants games inside of clean dispensers, so that they are and ready for sale. They remind players of jackpot amounts and always ask if they would like to play lottery today.
To be a successful Lottery retailer, store manager Michelle Snider offers this advice: “Keep area clean, display the newest games in stock, talk to your customers about Lottery, and “ask for the sale.”
Circle K averages $23,367 in weekly sales for both instant and on-line games and carries 36 instant tickets over the counter.
